  • ​Attendance and Truancy Intervention​
  • Student Discipline (Student Character Development) – (Student Code of Conduct)
  • Alternative Education
  • Parent and Student Rights (Parent/Student Handbook)

Parent/Teacher Advisory Committee
The Parent/Teacher Advisory Committee holds meetings in January and​ February to review the Rockford Public Schools Student Code of Conduct. These meetings include students, parents, teachers, principals, central office administration, and community residents.​​​​​

The Student Services & Alternative Learning Department consists of student attendance, student character development, 
and alternative learning professionals. Our services encompass all grade levels in support to our school administrators in 
ensuring quality educational services are extended to all students. We know that Alternative Learning is a perspective and 
our academic interventions are aligned to essential pathways which lead to College and Career Readiness for all students 
served. We are committed to assisting principals, teachers, and parents in maintaining positive learning environments conducive to student academic achievement and social development.
