PBIS: Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports

Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe

One of our many school wide goals is to create a positive learning environment for our students. One of the ways in which we do this is through our school wide behavior program called Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS).  The goal of PBIS is to create a positive learning environment where appropriate behaviors are rewarded in order to increase academic achievement and instructional time.

Each morning we begin our day with a student delivering the pledge of allegiance and school pledge.  This is an opportunity for all students to start there day recognizing what is expected of them.

I pledge to do my best at everything.

I will show respect for authority, my school, and community.

I will help to keep my school clean and obey the rules.

I will work hard in class and be kind to others at all time.

I will do my best to make Washington School a happy, exciting, and successful place.
