There is a great deal of preparation completed by the students before each Skype activity, and each Skype has a specific objective. This activity builds background knowledge, and strengthens critical thinking and inquiry skills, to name but a few.
Lathrop students often visit Klehm for hands-on learning experiences in Art, Science, (Integrated Literacy).
We appreciate the wonderful welcome we receive at Klehm, and we are grateful for everything that their staff does for our students.
Lathrop Leopards have the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular activities such as Jr. Robotics, Gardening Cub, Music Club, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Girls on the Run.
Lathrop students now have access to Google Expeditions on a regular basis enabling them to experience virtual field trips whenever and wherever appropriate in the curriculum. We are excited!
