Lyrics:

HOW DOES A GARDEN GROW

Pick a spot. Build a fence.

Till the soil.

Now add some compost

and then we'll plant lots of seeds.

Water and wait for the yield

There's a place in my yard,

and it was made for this.

That's where I'll plant my seeds,

hoping they'll grow.

How does a garden grow?

Seed and soil. Water and sun.

How does a garden grow?

Patiently.

Ev'rything blooms in its time.

In its time.

Carrots, peas. Cucumbers.

Brussels sprouts.

Corn and tomatoes and broccoli.

Cauliflower.

Pumpkins and butternut squash.

There's a place in my yard,

and it was made for this.

That's where I'll plant my seeds,

hoping they'll grow.

How does a garden grow?

Seed and soil. Water and sun.

How does a garden grow?

Patiently.

Ev'rything blooms.

How does a garden grow?

Seed and soil. Water and sun.

How does a garden grow?

Patiently.

Ev'rything blooms in its time.

In its time.   (WWW.MUSICK8KIDS.COM)

PLANTING SEEDS

Plant – ing seeds, one by one
Plan for rain hope for sun
Our work is never done, no,
 our work is never done
Plant a bulb, soon it will
Be a nice daffodil
Our work is never done, no,
 our work is never done

The garden is a special place, full of life, full of grace.
We plant our seeds and bulbs below
And they will grow and grow and grow.
They will surely grow!

Digging spuds from the dirt.
Lots of mud on my shirt
Our work is never done, no,
 our work is never done
Every morn, year by year
Picking corn, ear by ear
Our work is never done, no,
Our work is never done.

The garden is a lovely spot
Sometimes cool, sometimes hot!
All our plants are in a row and they
Will grow and grow and grow
They will surely grow!

WORMS WORMS
Worms, worms, worms crawling in the ground;
Worms, worms, worms crawling all around.
Fat worms, thin worms wiggling, wiggling;
Short worms, long worms squiggling, squiggling.
 Worms, worms, worms crawling in the ground;
Worms, worms, worms crawling all around.

If I was a wiggle worm, wiggle worm
I would wiggle like this.

Worms, worms, worms crawling in the ground;
Worms, worms, worms crawling all around.
Fat worms, thin worms wiggling, wiggling;
Short worms, long worms squiggling, squiggling.
 Worms, worms, worms crawling in the ground;
Worms, worms, worms crawling all around.

If I was a squiggle worm, squiggle worm
I would squiggle like this.

OATS, PEAS, BEANS AND BARLEY GROW
Oats, peas, beans and barley grow;
Oats, peas, beans and barley grow;
Do you or I or anyone know
How Oats, peas, beans and barley grow;

First the farmer plants his seed,
then he stands and takes his ease.
He stamps his foot and claps his hands
And turns around to view the land.
