This page is designed to allow parents and absent students to check for information that may have been missed. This is not a substitute for completing the assignment notebook.   

 

Parent Orientation Thursday August 27th. Two sessions , the first begins at 5:30 and ends at 6:08. The second begins at 6:30 

 8/24/15: Information concerning the gifted program's relocation next school year (2016-2017) was sent home today with each student.

 

8/28/15: Information regarding "Race for Education" fundraising drive sent home today.

8/31/15: "Race for Education" assembly Wednesday (9/2) @ 1:30 in the auditorium

9/3/15: Permission sent home today ; Chess Club, Art Club, and "Race for Education" materials.

9/8/15: Book order forms sent home for scholastic. This is not connected to the "book fair" later this month. Orders due by September 17th (Thursday).

9/10/15: Permission forms for art club, chess, and "Race for education" materials due tomorrow 9/11/15.

9/11/15: Newsletter sent home

9/14/15:  Conference sign-up sheet sent home. Please return by Friday 9/18 with your three (3) choices for times.

9/14/15: Information regarding Washington "snack" program sent home.

9/14/15: Picture Day Information sent home.  Pictures will be taken Wednesday September 23rd.

9/17/15: Please return conference sign-up sheets by tomorrow.  I will send confirmation slips home on Monday 9/21

9/18/15: STEMfest at NIU on October 17th. Information was sent home today

9/18/15: Request for "Race for education" stamps and contributions sent home today.

9/21/15: Picture Day is Wednesday 9/23. Information sent home today.

10/7/15: Box tops need to be turned-in by October 16th.

10/8/15: Please check lost​+found bin located next to the library.  There is a substantial amount of clothing accumulating in the bin.

10/19/15: Newsletter sent home

10/19/15: upcoming events; "college day" wear your favorite college's colors,  will be on October 27th.  "Career Day" October 28th.  If you would like to come in and give a short presentation highlighting your career choice and answer a few questions from students, please email. And on November 11th it will be "Thank a Vet" day, classes will be collecting small items that can be shipped to veterans in need.  The "Monster Mash" will be held from 6-8pm. on  October 29th.

10/22/15: K-KIDS candy sale tomorrow, all items $1.00 

11/2/15: A survey was sent home today regarding the 3rd grade performing during the "Stroll on State" Festival taking place on Saturday November 28th @ 2:45.  The music department needs to have an idea of how many students could participate. Please return survey no later than FRIDAY 11/6.​

11/5/15: Permission form sent home today for the Coronado Field trip on December 4 to a portion of the "Nutcracker" from 9:30-11:11:30. Chaperones must have district paperwork completed and cleared prior to the trip. Chaperones will be on a first-come first-served basis.  Our class has room for four (4) chaperones.

11/16/15: REPORTS WILL BE SENT HOME ON FRIDAY 11/20/15

12/1/15; Please have field trip forms and money turned-in by Thursday 12/3. 

12/3/15: Student lead conferences will be held on January 14th and 19th.  Follow-up information will be coming soon

12/7/15: NEWSLETTER SENT HOME

12/7/15: Magic Waters/Six Flags reading logs and information sent home

12/11/15: Yearbooks must be purchased by Friday 12/18/15. Only check or epay accepted.

12/14/15: Submissions for yearbook cover art work must be turned in tomorrow.

12/15/15: Classroom celebration will be held from 1:15-2:00 on Thursday 12/17. All are welcome, all treats are appreciated. Nothing that contains peanuts or by-products.

12/15/15: School-wide sing-a-long will be on Friday 12/18 at 12:45-1:45. All are welcome. Students may leave at the conclusion of the sing-a-long if accompanied by a parent or relative.

12/15/15: Student-led conference sign-up sheets will be sent home tomorrow (12/16/15- Thursday) .  Please choose your top three choices.  January 14th and 19th are the only dates that will be scheduled. If you are unable to attend, materials will be sent home.

12/16/15; CONFERENCE SIGN-UP SHEETS SENT HOME

1/7/16: Confirmation times for conferences were placed in your child's assignment notebook under today's date.

1/13/16: Agenda and permission forms sent home for "All School Musical" . Informational meeting to be held Wednesday January 27th @ 2:20-2:50, PARENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND.

1/20/16:  Conferences that were canceled for this week will be held next Tuesday January 26 @ the same time .

1/25/16: Newsletter sent home

1/28/16: Conferences that were missed this past Tuesday will have student materials sent home on Friday 1/29 and students may present at home.  MAP results will also be sent with materials.

2/1/16: Particpation forms sent home today for "Ellis Island" and the "International Fair"

2/8/16: Valentine Party will be held Thursday 2/11/16 from 12:20-1:00.  Class list will be sent home tomorrow Tuesday 2/9/16.

2/10/16: Thanks to all the parents that helped make Ellis Island Day a memorable experience.

2/16/16: Beef-a-Roo night tonight from 4:30-7:30. ( Beef-a-Roo on Lexus drive off E. State)

2/24/16: Thanks to all the parents and volunteers that helped make the "International Fair" a success !

2/26/16: Parent survey sent home today, please complete and return by March 4.

2/26/16: Permission form sent home for field trip on March 10th. We can accommodate three (3) chaperones.  First come, first served.

3/21/16: All School Musical performances will be held at 6:30p on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.  Dress Rehearsals will take place at 1:00p on those same days.

4/13/16: Talent Show information and permission form sent home today.  Show will be held on Thursday April 21, 2016.

4/18/16: Congratulations to Hayden Kromm and Lilly Hanson who will be representing room 106 in this years forensics competition.

4/21/16: Permission forms sent home for the field to Nygren Wetlands on Wednesday May 4th.  Each class is allowed three (3) chaperones which will be taken on a first come first served basis.

4/25/16: Second notice of progress report sent home with students that have yet to return a signed copy.

4/28/16: Permission form for Mactown portion of the field trip next week sent.  Please complete and return.

5/3/16: order forms for summer math workbooks sent home.

5/3/16: reminder for registration sent home.

5/4/16: Final book fair order form of the year sent home.  It can be completed on-line or by turning in order forms on later than Tuesday May 10th.

5/18/16: volunteer appreciation breakfast will be held on Wednesday May 25th from 7:15-8:15
