Student absences:  Please notify the office no later than 8:15 AM on the day of t​he absence.  Please state reason for absence (ill, out of town, appointment, etc), as well as time and reason for late arrival or early dismissal.  You can notify the office at anytime in advance of planned absences.  If leaving a message on the office voicemail, please indicate student name, teacher name, reason for absence and information regarding late arrival or early dismissal.  *Absences of 3 consecutive days or longer, as well as a total of 5 absences during any trimester, will need a doctor's note submitted on return.  *Absences will be marked as unexcused unless a doctor's note is submitted.


Changes to daily transportation:  Changes to your child's regular mode of after school transportation need to be communicated with the teacher by writing a note in your student's planner on the day of the change.  Please indicate the way the student is to go home after school (ride bus, stay for activity, parent pick up, etc.)  Emergency daily transportation changes will be taken in the office prior to 12:30 PM on the day of the change.  Please be aware of the 12:30 PM deadline as the office will not accept transportation changes after that time.


Late Buses, before & after school transportation questions:  Questions regarding late buses as well as transportation issues that need attention before or after regular office hours should be communicated directly to the district transportation office at 815-966-3783.​​​
