​We've updated our enrollment process because of restrictions from COVID-19. Please follow the directions below to enroll for the 2020-21 school year before July 10. Meeting this deadline will ensure everything is in place before the start of the school year. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

IF YOU'RE NEW TO RPS 205: Students who are new to RPS 205 must first enroll in the district – even if they're the younger sibling of a current RPS 205 student. (Once a student is enrolled, each student must register each year. Registration packets have been mailed – follow this link for more registration information.) Families can enroll two ways: in person at the Welcome Center or via email:

IN-PERSON ENROLLMENT:  Visit the RPS 205 Administration Building, 501 7th St., Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit the Welcome Center website to see limited extended hours. Please note:

  • Entry to the office will be limited.
  • One parent/ guardian per family should visit. Please do not bring children unless a bilingual screening is required.
  • Visitors must wear a mask.

BILINGUAL SCREENINGS: Bilingual screenings are required for all children who might hear or speak a language other than English at home. To enroll, the child must also be present. We're asking all other families to keep their children at home.

ENROLL IN EARLY CHILDHOOD: Early Childhood programs are open to students who will turn 3 on or before Sept. 1, 2020. Limited seats are available.

What to bring:

  • Original certified Birth Certificate (photo copies are not accepted)
  • 2 proofs of address

     -Current DHS Medical Card with guardian's name and current address

     -Signed and dated lease with rent or deposit receipt (within the last 30 days)

     -Current Utility Bill (gas, electric, water or other public service bill – within the last 30 days)

     -Mail received within the last 30 days at the current address (only one piece of mail will be accepted)

  • Photo ID
  • Proof of household income (may include any of the following)

     -W2 or Tax return documents

     -2 most recent and consecutive pay stubs

     -Proof of public benefits:  SNAP, WIC, TANF, SSI, CCAP, or Medicaid (must be in parent's name)

ENROLL IN KINDERGARTEN – 12TH GRADE: Please bring the following materials:

  • Original Certified Birth Certificate (photo copies are not accepted)

ONLINE ENROLLMENT: Welcome Center staff will continue to process enrollments electronically through Aug. 7.  Please enroll – or submit materials – before July 10 to ensure materials are processed before the start of the school year. Parents/guardians should email a completed enrollment form to enrollment@rps205.com

Please note: In-person bilingual screenings are required for children who hear or speak a language other than English at home. Please visit the Welcome Center with your child/children and do not enroll online.

What to include in a K-12 enrollment email:*

*Incomplete submissions will not be processed.

ADDRESS UPDATES: If your family has moved and you need to update your address with RPS 205 before the start of the 2020-21 school year, you must submit a change online or visit the Welcome Center at the Administration Building, 501 7th St. Submit your changes to the Welcome Center before July 10 to ensure the change is complete before the first day of school. The Welcome Center is now open to the public. Please note:

  • Entry to the office will be limited.
  • One parent/ guardian per family should visit. Please do not bring children for address updates.
  • Visitors must wear a mask.

All information MUST be included in that email – otherwise the address change request can't be processed. Submit your changes to the Welcome Center before July 10 to ensure the change is complete before the first day of school.
