Rockford Public Schools Superintendent Ehren Jarrett will be in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, Dec. 4, to participate in the White House College Opportunity Summit. His participation is part of the Northern Illinois Regional P-20 Network, a network of education, business and community leaders collaborating to improve college and career readiness for urban, suburban and rural students in the Northern Illinois region.
Dr. Jarrett will join President Obama, the First Lady and Vice President Biden with representatives of colleges and universities, leaders of businesses and nonprofits, and others committed to supporting more college opportunities for students across the country.
"The Rockford Public Schools are honored to be part of the NIU P-20 leadership team heading to the White House College Opportunity Summit," said Jarrett.
