Even during these challenging times of remote learning, Rockford Public Schools Early Childhood teachers are still enjoying face-to-face time with our students. Our twice weekly meetings through Zoom – the web-based digital conference tool – have been so much fun, even if we can't be together every day.
I want to give a shout out to the parents of my young students at our child care collaboration site, Circles of Learning. They have made such an effort to stay connected and keep their preschoolers engaged and learning. In the photo at the top of this blog post, my student Sarah is enjoying one of our Zoom meetings, having a great time talking to her teacher and friends.
I miss you all, and I appreciate everything you are doing while we are apart!
We're launching a survey to collect feedback about remote learning.
The RPS 205 Nutrition Services team will provide meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-11:15 a.m. through Aug. 18.
The deadline to return packets is Monday, July 6.
Programs will be offered remotely and run June 22 through Aug. 21.
