The Painters District Council No. 30 and the Painters and Allied Trades
for Children's Hope Foundation partnered with Lewis Lemon Elementary School to
purchase school supplies and backpacks for all scholars enrolled at Lewis Lemon
for the 2020-21 school year. The PATCH Foundation donations support many
educational needs in schools across the country. Since its inception, the
foundation has given more than $1 million to local youth organizations.
Each Lewis Lemon scholar will receive a backpack
and school supplies on the first day of school. Last spring, the classroom
teachers were asked to submit the school supply lists in preparation for this
very generous donation. This school year Lewis Lemon families do not need to
purchase any school supplies for their children. By eliminating this financial
burden, families can focus on other needs in getting ready for the start of
school. The families and staff at Lewis Lemon are very appreciative of being
chosen to receive this donation as we move forward with a very successful
