A Generous Donation to Lewis Lemon Elementary School Scholars

8/10/2020 12:00 AM

The Painters District Council No. 30 and the Painters and Allied Trades for Children's Hope Foundation partnered with Lewis Lemon Elementary School to purchase school supplies and backpacks for all scholars enrolled at Lewis Lemon for the 2020-21 school year. The PATCH Foundation donations support many educational needs in schools across the country. Since its inception, the foundation has given more than $1 million to local youth organizations.

Each Lewis Lemon scholar will receive a backpack and school supplies on the first day of school. Last spring, the classroom teachers were asked to submit the school supply lists in preparation for this very generous donation. This school year Lewis Lemon families do not need to purchase any school supplies for their children. By eliminating this financial burden, families can focus on other needs in getting ready for the start of school. The families and staff at Lewis Lemon are very appreciative of being chosen to receive this donation as we move forward with a very successful school year.
