The Rockford Public Schools Communications Department is responsible for writing news releases, facilitating media requests, and managing the district's social media accounts and website. We offer marketing support along with assistance at special events such as graduations and Academic All-Stars. The department also manages Let’s Talk!, a two-way communication platform for questions, comments, suggestions, concerns or compliments.

RPS 205 showcases its students, staff, programs and alumni through photos and videos produced by Communications. Videos are available on YouTube and Comcast Channel 20. Rockford School Board and Committee meetings are broadcast live on Channel 20. Community members who aren't Comcast subscribers can watch Channel 20 via the live stream.
