Demolition at the former King Elementary School will start next week, and bricks from the school will be available to the public starting Dec. 2.
Students and staff at Riverdahl Elementary School briefly evacuated the building this morning following a fire alarm.
Rockford Public Schools will celebrate the eighth annual Champions Ball and Athletic Hall of Fame at 5 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center.
A limited number of bricks will be in a pile outside the construction fence, first come first served.
