Jan. 24, 2017: The Rockford School Board voted Jan. 24 to implement its last, best, final offers to AFSCME Local 692 (paraprofessionals), AFSCME Local 1275 (bus drivers) and AFSCME Local 3210 (nutrition services). Staff members will receive an individual breakdown of the offer from their building principal. Meetings will be scheduled for affected employees to learn more.
Jan. 10, 2017: Rockford Public Schools filed its final contract offers today with the Illinois Labor Relations Board. Please see below for a breakdown of each contract offer for the district's bus drivers, paraprofessionals and nutrition services unions.
Rockford Public Schools will continue to negotiate in good faith, and additional collective bargaining sessions are scheduled with each union.
